and i ask myself this simple question
why am i so disappointed
when i know the outcome anyway
you make no sense
and i love that about you
but sometimes i feel disappointed
you looked at me with big eyes
and you said the sweetest thing anyone had ever said to me
and i smiled
inside i was happy
then i left
and thought about it
and it made no sense
words without purpose
the best you have ever given me
now turning into stalwart

love is the two-way streak
where we mean nothing
and we are nothing
at all
